YKK Soccer dip for Lankan youth
By Naushad Amit

The Football Federation of Sri Lanka together with YKK brought down three experienced coaches from Italy to Sri Lanka on a three-day coaching camp.

The coaches were legendary Maurizio Turone, Morris Pagniello and Allessandro Turone who played as professionals in the Italian Serie A championship. The trio now represents the coaching staff of AS Roma, a professional Serie A football team in Italy which has won the championship more than on five occasions.

They were also crowned twice as European champions. The three coaches imparted their vast knowledge of football to over 250 young Sri Lankan girls and boys from all corners of the country. The coaches who were very pleased by the interest of these youngsters said the coaches are keen to return to Sri Lanka and help the country's young footballers to blossom into professionals in the near future.
