Anandaraj – Joins GHM-Dubai as Group Director-Operations

Veteran hotelier S. Anandaraj will take up appointment in Dubai- Global Hotels Management LLC as Group Director- operations with effect from early July.

He was the Past President of the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association and counts over 25 years in the Tourism industry. He joined as a Management Trainee of the Confifi Group and rose up to the position of General Manager of their 192 roomed Riverina Hotel which is the largest 4 star resort in the island.

‘Ana’, as he is commonly known had a short stint at the Galle Face Hotel before he took up as Director – Operations of Serendib Leisure Group Hotels which comes under the Hemas umbrella and currently manages four well known properties in Sri Lanka.

He was subsequently promoted as the Director/Chief Operating Officer of the group which post he will relinquish upon taking up the appointment in Dubai. Ana’s passion for Training has enabled him too, to get certified as a Certified Hospitality Educator by the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
