Seneviratne makes himself comfortable

BATA-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year Contests 2011
There were no surprises at the end of count No 16 in the Bata-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Contests.

In the International Category, Dhananjana Seneviratne of Gateway College, Colombo who took over the lead in this category last week has made himself comfortable in this position while becoming the first to pass the four figure mark with 1208 votes to his credit.

Once again Royal’s popular allrounder Ramith Rambukwella has held on to his lead in the all Island category finishing this count with an unassailable lead of 8482 votes. Rambukwella has now accumulated a huge 13405 votes at the end of this count.In the emerging section the other right royal battle between the Panadura team mates – Kavindu Ashan Perera and Charitha Ruchiranga remains hot with both engaged in an unrelenting battle.

Perera is yet in the lead with 1838 votes, while Ruchiranga is still on track with 1414 votes. This depicts that this section of the contest would not be stable till the last vote is cast.
