Service sector Gold to Hayleys Advantis

The 2009-10 Annual Report of Hayleys Advantis, the Transportation and Logistics Arm of the Hayleys Group, bagged the Gold award in the ‘Service Organization’ Category at the 46th Annual Report Awards presented by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) recently.

This is the 6th occasion that Hayleys Advantis has won an ICASL award for financial reporting at these prestigious awards. Deputy Managing Director of Hayleys Advantis Ltd, Ruwan Waidyaratne accepted the award on behalf of the company (see picture).

“Hayleys Advantis has a culture of striving for excellence in all it does, and responsible corporate reporting is a key area of focus for the company,” Mr. Waidyaratne said in a press release.
“Whilst awards themselves are not the object of these efforts, they do provide invaluable feedback for continual improvement with regard to how we stack-up against our peers and market expectations. The ICASL has to be commended for making this possible.”
