Funday Times - A Poem for the week

My monster

By Nisal Dayawansha (10 years), Dharmaraja College, Kandy

My monster’s name is Ronald,
He’s nine years old,
He likes to play with a ball,
His colour is gold.

It has seven little legs,
And three little hands,
A big fat nose,
And two big horns.

Three big eyes,
And silver hair,
Two big heads,
And a little red beak.

He has an elephant’s trunk,
Long and fat,
He likes me a lot,
And so do I.
