Join the Australian workforce as a nurse assisted by Edlocate

Nursing is a highly recognized skill and a well respected profession in the developed countries. Australia is no different. The country requires a good number of qualified nurses to join the workforce. In the newly published list of skills there are over 10 categories of nurses with different specialty skills listed which include those with.

  • Critical care
  • Emergency handling
  • General in-patient care including post-operative
  • Mental health
  • Perioperative (preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative)

Edlocate promotes an excellent course ARNTP at the University of South Australia specially designed for non Australian Registered Nurses to obtain Australian nursing registration and join the workforce.
The ideal candidates to follow this 18 week course would be;

a. Those who are under 44 years of age.
b. Have SLMC registration or expatriate nurses with registration from their own countries
c. Minimum 2 years of current work experience as a nurse
d. Excellent communication capabilities in English

Edlocate also facilitates for Enrolled Nurses (those who have followed a recognized diploma course of 3 years from a private nursing school but without SLMC registration) with 2 years of current work experience to follow the Nursing degree programme at two well recognized universities in South Australia they being Flinders University and University of South Australia.

Applicants will be eligible to complete the degree in Nursing - pre-registration in 2 years and seek registration of the Nursing Board of South Australia. On successful completion they could start working as an Australian registered nurse.

Nurses who are good in English only should seek to follow the two courses. Edlocate has facilities in-house to guide them to obtain the IELTS score required to gain entry to the two courses. Edlocate will also handle all stages of enrolment including visa formalities with no hassle as we are a Streamlined Agent appointed by the Australian High Commission to handle student Pre Visa Assessments.

Nursing is an excellent career for school leavers too. It is a highly sought after career with excellent remuneration. \Those with 3 A/L passes could seek entry directly to the undergraduate courses available in most of the Australian Universities represented by Edlocate (we represent 15 in all).

We will assist students with the registration with state nursing boards on successful graduation through our Australian representative office. Pathway programmes are available for those with less than 3 A/L passes.
