Ramadan and Eid Bazaar at DBU

In celebration of the religious festival, come August 24, the DBU hall and garden at Bauddhaloka Mawatha will be transformed to a Ramadan and Eid Bazaar. Organized by the Sri Lanka Pakistan Friendship Association, the fair will have over 80 stalls selling Ramadan and Eid delicacies, Pakistani carpets, shalwar kameez sets, kurtas specially flown in for the bazaar, abayas, quality sarees in addition to the usual foodstuff, spices and condiments, children’s readymade clothes, evening clutch bags, handbags and sandals, Eid greeting cards, clothing and house ware.

A highlight of the fair will be the convenient and specially packed ifthar take away packs. Everything will be sold at specially discounted rates. All proceeds of the bazaar will go towards the flood victims in Pakistan in keeping with the Ramadan spirit of giving towards charity.
