Victory for bartenders

Bartenders certainly have only one job to do, and that is to keep the spirit of the evening on a high on any night. On the evening of July 13, the tables turned for the Bartenders, as a sea of arms were extended in applause at the 19th National Bartender Competition when the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Team won one category in the Colombo Region competition.

Taking the shield home, this year was Indrajith Yapa Bandara, a fresher in this scene from 7 Degrees North, the plush indoor and open-air bar at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. Following closely behind, in the Classic Bartender Category, was his colleague, Kasun Steinwall, the 4th runner up this year.

J. A. Yoshitha’s performance displayed his prowess earning him the 2nd runner up position in the Flair Category.
