R. M. P. Dayawansa recently received the Fellow Status from the Chartered Institute of Marketing - United Kingdom. Dayawansa  is   the Assistant General Manager - Specialized   Financial Services   of    Hatton National Bank (HNB).  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of   Sri Lanka (FIB) and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) and also a Chartered Marketer – Chartered   Institute of Marketing, UK.  

He was the president of  the Sri Lanka  Institute of Marketing (SLIM)   in 2008/09. He serves as the country supervisor  for  Sri Lanka   in the Asia  Marketing   Federation  (AMF)  at present. He is an old boy of Central College, Kuliyapitiya, and has been  a visiting  Lecturer  in Marketing Management at the   Institute of Bankers of  Sri Lanka (IBSL) for  over a decade.
