Trophy World: The perfect blend of trophies and music

Ensuring memories live a lifetime

We all have dreams and we all have memories. But how many of our dreams are eventually realized and how many of our memories live a lifetime.

Trophy World – the newly opened trophy showroom in Colombo 6 on Havelock Road – is not able to help realize your dreams, but they are committed to ensure that your memories live a lifetime. Trophy World which is open from 9 to 5 on weekdays and 9 to 2 on Saturdays could be contacted on 5232242 or 5232244 for all your needs, be it big or small.

What makes Trophy World so special? Rishanthi Chandrasoma heads the company as the CEO and she is no stranger to the world of trophies. With over 20 years of experience under her belt, blended with trust and credibility she started this company on her own and she is being ably supported by her brand ambassador and marketing consultant Rajiv Sebastian who is no stranger in the celebrity world. Interestingly Rajiv joins Rishanthi at a time when he is also marking his 20th year in music. One might see this blend as another 20-20 happening which in fact deserves a trophy!

Rishanthi had been working in family concerns in which she had little or no say. And when she decided to say it quits and start on her own, her staff members and clientele had rallied around her giving her all the strength and motivation to face the challenges with confidence.

The soft opening of Trophy World was marked recently with former Miss Sri Lanka, celebrity and parliamentarian Rosy Senanayake doing the honours. Rishanthi says she always admired Chief Guest Rosy Senanayake who has made useful contributions to the country in various spheres.

Rajiv said he was approached by Rishanthi about three years ago with a proposal to join her venture. Though Rajiv had not taken it seriously at the initial stage, he had later succumbed to the proposal.
“Later when she insisted, I gave it a serious thought and marketing not being alien to me, I thought I could make a positive contribution to her business. And here am I today in a rather new, but satisfying role,” said Rajiv who had in fact worked in reputed companies before embarking on his tuneful music career.

‘For us at trophy World customer satisfaction and quality are two key features. We work as a team and this dedication and commitment are seen in every area we serve the client. Ranging from on-time delivery, personal attention, after sales service and satisfying customer needs to other key areas, Trophy World is committed to giving out our best to the people.

We deal in all kinds of trophies ranging from brass, acrylic blended with wooden bases and medals of shapes and sizes. It’s an exclusive one-stop shop for trophies,” said Rishanthi who paid a glowing tribute to her key staff members Lakmini Gamage who handles the graphics, Gayathri Kandanarachchi who is in charge of accounts and Nalin Seneviratne who handles the operations.
