A record number of students have successfully completed their Monash College diploma in Business (equivalent to first year of Monash University) at ANC Education, Sri Lanka and entered the second year of Monash University to continue their studies in a range of disciplines including Accounting, Marketing, Management, Banking and Finance and Business Law.

On completion of their studies at ANC, students can choose to enter Monash University campuses in Australia or Malaysia. Popularity is increasing for the Malaysian campus due to factors such as proximity to Sri Lanka and being a financially beneficial option.
Mr. Alan Robertson, Dean for Monash College programmes at ANC shared insight into student performance at ANC and university. He said that on average an 80 per cent pass rate is maintained across the Diploma of Business at ANC and that students continue to maintain this pass rate at Monash University, with a significant proportion receiving high distinction, distinction and credit passes in their units.
He highlighted that ANC students on average perform better at Monash University than students who have completed the Monash College diplomas from other locations, including the students in Australia.

Isuri Beneregama is a third year student studying the Bachelor of Commerce degree at Monash University, Australia. Isuri commenced her Monash College Diploma at ANC after her A/Ls at Ladies' College. "At ANC we were taught to be innovative and flexible in our way of thinking. These skills have helped me improve my way of learning and play a significant part in my success at university."
About her experience in Australia she says "Monash University is an extremely friendly multicultural place, where students from all over the world have an opportunity to learn together."
Chamithri Ratnapala completed her final semester of the Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Banking & Finance) degree from Monash University, Malaysia and will be attending her graduation ceremony shortly. "My dream has always been to go to one of the best universities. For this reason I chose to commence my undergraduate studies at ANC. Thanks to the Monash College diploma, I was able to pursue my dreams by beginning right here in Sri Lanka at a fraction of the cost" says Chamithri who has already secured employment as a business analyst.
"I am pleased with my decision as the Monash qualification has opened up a whole host of opportunities in Sri Lanka and abroad. Apart from the education and training I received at the Monash University Malaysia, I have built up a network of friends throughout Asia. I am sure these contacts will stand me in good stead to further my career."
