Imperial College inaugurates in Kandy

Imperial College, the most established Business School in Sri Lanka for CIMA is proud to announce the inauguration of their Kandy Branch which took place on May 3 2010. With a view to educating students both locally and internationally and keeping in line with the motto of 'Nurturing Tomorrow's Leader's', Imperial College expands its operations to Kandy.

'There are many students who are either currently following CIMA in Kandy or are looking to pursue this dynamic qualification. Some of these students are unable to come to Colombo to follow classes; hence we decided to take Imperial College to them' Commented Pravinth Rajaratnam, Director, Imperial College. 'We are excited to enter this next phase of growth for our college. Our expertise in the field of delivering CIMA tuition will allow us to swiftly build on our strengths and enable us to enhance the efficiency and delivery of our services to students in Kandy. This way we ensure that we give them a unique study experience.'

He further stated, 'We will begin this month with revision classes for the Operational and Management Levels for students who are sitting for exams in May 2010. Our Branch in Kandy will be complete with Foundation, Operational and Management level classes'.

Imperial College commenced classes in Kandy from May 8, giving CIMA students an opportunity to benefit from a free revision programme in order to be better prepared for the May 2010 examinations. These revision sessions are conducted by the faculty specially formulated for the Kandy Operation.

Lecturers from Imperial College in Colombo will also be involved with delivering the revision sessions in Kandy. Revisions of this nature have been organized with the aim of facilitating and ensuring that students are thoroughly prepared to face the first exam sitting under the revised syllabus.

Imperial College has been on the expansion path, with local Partners in Jaffna, Batticaloa and Trincomalee and International partners in Bangladesh and China. The Lecturers at Imperial College frequently visit India to conduct revision lectures and refresher courses for students in Bangalore. This is a clear indication of having a vision and striving towards achieving it.
