APIIT SPORTS FIESTA: The best days of our lives!

For years now, we've heard of extravagant sporting events, from the ancient Olympics to the SAARC Games. These events always turn out to be a colossal success. This year, the Student Activity Club of APIIT, takes things to a similar level by planning out what will turn out to be the biggest sporting manifestation thus far organized by any campus in the country.

Six top-notch campuses, both government and private, will compete against each other in eight sports, all with the sole intention of being the one and only champion of what will come to be known as the apex of inter-university sporting events- The APIIT Sports Fiesta!

With the inter university championship up for grabs through eight sports, the participants will battle it out in an ultimate title fight, with a similar concept to that of a mini-Olympics. Amidst all the fever there will be the emergence of the true spirit of sports. In this spirit the APIIT Sports Fiesta will set a stage for challenges while forging strong relationships between participants to make this event part of the "best days of our lives".

The organizers believe the event will exceed expectations, and create a unique bond between all contending campuses which will prove to be valuable in the short and long run. With the hype spreading like wildfire, all the teams will have begun their journey towards the ultimatum of sporting events which will hit Colombo with a bang!

Uniting cultures, breaking down barriers, celebrating the strength of our youth… Let's all join hands, as we witness, History in the Making.
