‘Rhythm of Anula 2010’

One hundred and twenty five strong talented students from Anula Vidayalaya in Nugegoda will come alive in a form of an Orchestra at a concert organized by Anula Girls on 2 April at the BMICH. This will be the very first time in the 68 years history of Anula Vidyalaya that talented students have come public as performers.

This young talent orchestra will comprise 125 students in various aspects as on piano, violin, keyboards, accordion, guitars, drummers in Sri Lankan and Western style and vocals.

This is to be one of the most unique and attractive school orchestras among the leading schools in the island and most of the well known past Aanulians, who are popular and respected artistes will be joining with young talent pool on the day of the Concert.

Among them the famous singer Amitha Wedisinghe, Charitha Priyadarshini, Deepika Priyadarshini, Priyanka Weerasekara and well known past Anulians Majula Kumari, Lochana, Ayesha Sandamali and Prasadi will attract the audience with dancing and singing.

While Sandya Rambukkana, Chethana Liyanage, Rasadari Peiris, Himali Sayurangi, Kaushika Geethani and Sayuni will compere event. ‘Rhythm of Anula 2010’ is a brain child of the principal of Anula Vidyalaya Mrs. Neelamani Malaviarachchi.

The project is assisted by Ananada Perera and Mrs. Deepa Gunawardana. ‘Rhythm of Anula 2010’ will be a concert with a different and all the past students are invited to the event.
