Improving many aspects of life including luck in wealth, health and marriage through understanding and utilising cosmic energies, is what the art of Feng Shui is all about. Last week while we spoke about how to improve wealth luck, this week we will find out how to improve overall luck in 2010.

"Each year you might find it being an extraordinarily good one or notice it has been the worst ever year for you. Luck in a household changes annually because the directions attracting luck change."

"This year the directions that attract good luck are the North West, North, East and West," he continues. These directions are guaranteed to improve wealth luck and professional luck, which will include promotions and gaining more popularity in the workplace.

Having a main door in the North West is favourable for attracting good luck to the entire household because cosmic energy generally comes into a home through the entrance used the most. If you do not have a main door in this direction see if there are any other entrances that are situated in the North West, and use that entrance more than the main entrance throughout the year. This will bring good luck to the whole family.

You can determine the directions in your home by referring to your house plan or by standing in the centre of the house with a compass. If you do not have an entrance in this direction you can see if you have a bedroom in the North West and sleep in that room or spend as much time there as possible.

ood luck will only effect the person or people who spend time in that room and not the entire household, so it is better if the breadwinner of the household spends as much time as possible there.
If you do not have a bedroom in the North West either, see if you have one where you can study or work while you are at home.

But it has to be remembered that if a bathroom is situated in this direction there will be no attracting of luck there, so spending time there would not help. The best direction for Education luck this year is the North. If your main entrance is situated in the North your entire household will improve in education luck. If you do not have a main entrance see if you have another entrance in the North and use that instead throughout the year.

If not find a bedroom that is situated in the North where you can sleep in or a room that you can do your studies. If your dining table is in a North area, you can do your studying there as well. The North can bring about Love luck as well. The North is ideal to improve luck in marriage.

Again using a main entrance or an entrance situated in the North of your house will help the love of your family to grow and there will hardly be any friction in the house. A married couple sleeping in a room in the North of the house will find that their love will grow as well.

If by some chance the North of your house is not complete or you have a bathroom there the second best direction for Education and Love luck is the West. For Improving Health luck the best direction is the East and using a main entrance or another entrance as well as spending as much time in rooms in this direction can help you avoid illnesses.
