NTB to conduct career guidance programme in Vavuniya

 

Nations Trust Bank announced plans of a career guidance workshop which is to be conducted in Vavuniya later this month. The workshop will be conducted by the Bank experts in human resource management and will be conducted in Tamil and English mediums for the benefit of the participants. There will be no charge levied for the course, with the entire workshop being conducted free of charge.

Spearheaded by Hewa Hewapattini , Head of Human Resources at Nations Trust Bank , this programme seeks to bring knowledge and education to this segment in society who would deeply benefit from learning on such skills. Commenting on this event, Hewapattini said, "With the Bank's expansions plans to the north and east, coupled with the opening of our new branch in Vavuniya later this month, we intended to conduct a series of special programmes to help youth and professionals of the area to better acquaint themselves with tips and techniques that will aid them in their career.

As we emerge from the end of conflict, we are determined to assist and help develop the knowledge base of the people of these regions and aid in the overall development and progress of our country."
The Career guidance workshop will focus intensively on various aspects such as writing cv's, how to manage an interview, etiquette and grooming, language and posture in addition to a host of tips and useful practical advice that is bound to be of immense value to the people of Vavuniya and its environs.
