May Day Workers’ Mass as usual

The traditional inter-denominational May Day workers’ Holy Mass organized by the Christian Workers’ Fellowship will be held at St. Michael’s Church at Polwatte in Kollupitiya.

The main celebrants will be Colombo’s Anglican Bishop the Rt. Rev. Duleep de Chickera, the Bishop of Kurunegala, the Rt. Rev. Cedric Illangasinghe and the president of the Methodist Church, the Rev. Ebenezer Joseph.

Catholic priests and representatives of other Christian denominations will also take part in the Mass, preceded by a procession from the parish hall at 8.30 a.m.
