Rupavahini remembers Gamini

Sri Lanka Rupavahini will telecast late actor Gamini Fonseka's debut direction 'Parasathumal' in memory of his fourth death anniversary.

Produced by Chitra Balasuriya and played by Tony Ranasinghe, Joe Abeywickrema, Punya Heendeniya, Srimathi Rasadari, D. R. Nanayakkara and many others the film will be shown at 12.10 noon on Sunday September 28.

Produced in 1966, the screenplay of 'Parasathumal' was written by P. K. D. Seneviratne and camera directed by Samiththa Amarasinghe and edited by Titus Totawatta.

To the lyrics of Mahagama Sekara, play back was sung by Pandith Amaradeva and Sujatha Attanayake and musical score was directed by late musician Lionel Algama. The film was presented by Gamini Fonseka Commemoration Fund
