Aramex wins top international award

Aramex, the leading provider of total transportation solutions, has been presented with the prestigious Global Express Delivery Company 2006 award, the industry’s top accolade.

A panel of judges from the influential Institute of Transport Management [ITM], the UK-based international standards-setting organization for the sector, made their decision based on accomplishments Aramex has made in the past year. The company said in a press release that it was nominated by the members of ITM and the general public who submitted their recommendations through the Institute’s Transport journal and website. The accolade is the most prestigious of the awards given by ITM recognizing outstanding achievement within the express sector.

Responding to the recognition, Adrian Horsley, Aramex Vice President for Express Services commented, “The title of Global Express Delivery Company is a well-deserved recognition for the quality and consistency of the service Aramex has been providing to its customers across the world. We are delighted that we have been selected for what is one of the global industry’s top honors.”

“Aramex operates in a highly competitive global market where innovation and quality are the engines that defines success. We do not set out to win awards; our priorities are providing the best services to our customers and we continue to seek excellence in performance, fortunately for us, this has proven to be an award winning formula,” he said.
