JVP Propaganda Secretary Wimal Weerawansa in an argument with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse in Parliament on Tuesday after Opposition chief whip Mahinda Samarasinghe informed the House that the opposition and government had reached an understanding that there would be no contest for the post of Deputy Speaker and Deputy Chairman of Committees.
