The Renowned Sri Lankan Criminologist Amb. Ashanika to speak at World Peace Symposium in Nigeria 2022
View(s):Ms. Ashanika Nidumi Wijerathne, a proud past pupil of St. Bridgets Convent Colombo 7., successfully became the very first graduate from CFPS Law School to achieve a World First Class in LLB ( Hons ) from the University of London in UK, 2019.
Nidumi was also awarded, by the University of London, the “Certificate of Achievement” for Criminology. Nidumi is much dedicated towards ‘Peace Building’ and she is also the Criminology Lecturer for the World Institute For Peace in Nigeria, for almost 3 years and also one of the Peace Ambassadors representing Sri Lanka. She was also awarded the title of ‘Laureate of Peace and Unity’ in 2021 from WIP in Nigeria and by the Kishwer Tony Peace Foundation and Radio TV Canada, the Honorary Award of ‘Paragon of Hope for Asia’ (Ph.A). in 2020.
Nidumi on 28th August 2022, by the invitation of Mr.Lamina Kamiludeen Omotoyosi , Executive Chairman for World Institute For Peace in Nigeria, will be proudly addressing, as a Speaker on Zoom, in the World Peace Symposium, Lagos 2022, in honour of a Great Leader and Ambassador, Gen. (Amb) Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd), who was the former Chief of Army Staff in Nigeria.
