Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute recognised as a degree awarding institute
View(s):The Education Ministry has recognised the Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute as a degree awarding institute.
In a Gazette issued on June 27, the Ministry had approved the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Software Engineering Degree of Lanka Nippon BizTech Institute, situated in Maharagama.
The minimum requirement for the degree programme is three simple passes in the Physical Science subject stream in one and the same sitting at the A/L exams.
Three simple passes in any subject stream in one and the same sitting at the A/L exams with an approved bridging course was also acceptable.
A qualification equivalent to A/Ls could provide entry to the institute as well. (SJA)
