Info on fuel distribution launched by ICTA
View(s):The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) has launched a fuel Information Management System to provide information on fuel distribution islandwide.
During the first phase, the system will be updated daily in the morning, with information about the fuel dispatch, fuel filling station details, the quantity of fuel dispatched and availability of stocks.
The public can log into the system via fuel.gov.lk and follow the instructions. The public can also get information via SMS by typing FUEL<Space><Fuel Station Code> and sending to 1919 (The fuel station could be obtained from <fuel.gov.lk>
Information about fuel availability will be displayed as:
Shed name
Telephone number of the shed
Available fuel capacity: P92 – (capacity), P95 – (capacity), D – (capacity), SD- (capac ity), Kerosine – (capacity)
Bowser dispatched date and time
* Last updated date and time
