Many youth, adults and children who have gone through its’ doors now shine as confident communicators with sound values. Rainbow Institute of Communication counts twelve years of service in Colombo and districts throughout Sri Lanka.
Enrolment is now in progress for two training programmes. Namely, the popular Rainbow Institute Soft Skills and Public Speaking training for Youth and also for Rainbow Institute’s Spoken English for Effective Communication.
PUBLIC SPEAKING FOR YOUTH.
Public Speaking for Youth equips learners with important life skills and sound values, as well as skills in public speaking. As you prepare for your next steps, this training also provides a foundation in professional and academic writing in English.
SPOKEN ENGLISH FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
Spoken English for Effective Communication equips learners to develop confidence and polish in speaking English in social, professional and academic settings. The training helps to speak English fluently with improved language, style and pronunciation.
FUN- FILLED LEARNING
In the highly competitive academic environment that young people have to deal with, Rainbow Institute provides two refreshing hoursof exciting and fun – filled learning and skills development.
ENROLLING FOR JUNE INTAKE
Enrolments are now in progress for two programmes: . Namely: Public Speaking for Youth, scheduled from Thursdays 4.30 to 6.30 pm . and Spoken English for Effective Communication, on Tuesdays, 6.00 pm to 8. 00 pm. These two courses cover a duration of 30 hours each.
Training takes place at the Rainbow Institute Training centre in Colombo 5.
As the class is limited to small numbers, each participant gets individual attention and is guided to bring out the best of his or her own distinctive strengths.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
Rainbow Institute also offers individual coaching for students want to excel in English and also for those who take part in Speech, Debating and Oratorical competitions.
Many students from the Rainbow Institute have shone at school and university and won awards at national level competitions.

Dr Mahim Mendis, a product of St Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia, has been mentoring and teaching in Sri Lanka and abroad for three decades. He is the former Spokesman of the Federation of University Teachers Associations (FUTA), and renowned as a powerful public speaker.
