AFAIRS Exhibitions & Media is bringing the ‘Study in India Expo 2022 to Sri Lanka on 26 – 27 March 2022 at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo, from 10 am to 6 pm in association with ‘Study in India’- a flagship project under the Ministry of Education, Government of India as the Lead Partner.

Some of India’s eminent government institutions like IIT Madras, IIT Ropar, NIT Silchar, which are also the partner institutions under ‘Study in India’ are participating at the expo along with India’s leading high rated private universities.

Study in India Expo will open up the doors of all possibilities for Sri Lankan students and parents to connect with many premier governments, private universities, colleges and residential schools from India. The expo will provide a unique opportunity to interact with the heads & faculties of the admissions team and learn more about higher & school education opportunities in India, all under one roof!

‘Study in India’ programme facilitates the inflow of international students to study in India at globally recognised premier institutions across India. This is a genuinely commendable initiative of the Government of India in making esteemed Indian universities seats of a global multicultural audience.

The expo brings India’s top 8 residential schools with the International IB & British curriculum, and they will offer admissions from grade 3 onwards. The participating schools are from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mussoorie & Dehradun. Each school boasts several acres of campus, the most modern facilities, a host of extra-curricular opportunities with the best academics. Each campus is safe and secure for all students and is particularly welcoming for
international students.

Over 30 participating universities & colleges from different parts of India like Chennai, Vellore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bhubaneshwar, etc. are participating at the expo. These institutions are accredited by NAAC and ranked by NIRF & QS. Sri Lankan students can explore the wide choice of undergraduate ad postgraduate programs in Engineering, Science, Management & Liberal Education and also avail scholarships provided by the participating private universities for meritorious foreign students. 

A series of seminars for students and parents will also be conducted on both days of the fair by the leading academician and eminent experts.
