Trinity win Junior Novices Weightlifting Championship 2022

Trinity College juniors became the champions at the Junior Novices Weightlifting Championship 2022 which took place at Poddiwala National College. The championship was organised by Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation and saw many leading schools taking part in this annual event.
The Trinitians dominated by placing first, second and third comprehensively at the event. Abidh Jameel, Jason Peter, Missaka Wickramasekara and Yahadasun Ratnayake were placed first in their respective categories while second positions were claimed by Arya Solomons, Sherwain Wavita, Thisal Rajapakshe, Yasan Kavsidu and Rinoshan Gunasekaran. Chamod Dehigama was placed third in his category.
