Kushal wins NEGC Club title
Consistent golfer, Kushal Johnpillai, won the Club Championship 2021 which concluded at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) course. Another national pool player and 17-year-old Trinitian, Haroon Aslam ended up as the runner-up in the annual event which saw more than 60 golfers teeing off.
Kushal also won the Nearest to the Pin which was selected at the 17th hole while Ravindra Wijegunaratne won the Longest Drive, which he achieved in the first hole. This was the 84th installment of the NEGC Club Championship, which was inaugurated in 1933.
