Aged care as a profession and the industry as a whole is going through a phenomenal growth during the last quarter of a century and it is projected to grow in the next two to three decades. With the growth of the ageing population the care giving need has increased many folds.

Though the industry growth has been in the developed world the trend has been similar in the developing world as well due to the growth of the ageing population in all major countries in Asia and Latin America.
