Sri Dharmaloka, Kelaniya student Senidu lead gold haul

Senidu Wijayarathna of Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya led a gold rush by Elite Taekwondo Club who won a total of 20 medals at the Korean Ambassadors Taekwondo Cup and N. Fernando Memorial Cup.

Their medal haul consisted of six gold, four silver and 10 bronze medals.

Senidu won a gold and silver medal while Yulai Serasinghe of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo won a gold medal and two bronze medals.

Linuk Wijesinghe of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo won a gold and bronze medal.

The other gold medallists were Iran Wijendra, Venuki Fernando of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, Viduni Methaya of Raddolugama and Primary School.

St. Bridget’s Convent, Colombo students Lineli Wijesinghe and Shayana Hettiwatta won silver medals. Lineli also clinched a bronze.

Kenul Serasinghe of Ananda College, Colombo won two bronze medals.

The other bronze medal winners were Punari Serasinghe of Musaeus College, Colombo, Oshadi Wijayarathna of Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya, Deyon Fernando of Maris Stella College, Negombo, Sheyon Fernando of Maris Stella College, Negombo and Modana Widanarachchi.
