Sakunthalaya Sinhala theatrical production made based on Mahabharatha story will be staged at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm on April 10 at Namel Malani Punchi theatre in Boreella.

Originally written by classical Sanskrit writer and poet Kalidasa and translated to Sinahal by D. E. Hettiarachhi and Piyadasa Nissanka, the book is a prescribed text for both school and university curricula.

The poetic theatrical version of ‘Sakuthalaya’ is directed by Akila Sapumal and the play is organised by Jude Srimal.
