Riga Technical University is a modern internationally recognised university and it is the only polytechnic university in Latvia and the largest university in the country. There are more than 14000 students studying 57 study programmes in the university. Students can apply for ERASMUS scholarships which aim to enhance quality in higher education letting students study in another Schengen country that linked with ERASMUS programme in the university.
Riga TU official information and Study Center for Sri Lanka and Maldives is established in REC Campus to meet the needs of the students in both countries and offer Bachelors/ Masters in Engineering, Marine and Maritime, Management, Aviation etc. Students will get the Schengen Visa to study while working. Bachelors students can work 20 hours per week and Masters students can work full time unless the working schedule not interrupt the studies.
Sri Lankan students can now gain the opportunity to study the first semester in Sri Lanka even with pending A/L results and then migrate to Europe for the 2nd semester. When students apply with pending A/L results and if they do not get the minimum required results, the total paid fee will be refunded. Well experienced and well qualified lecture panel conducts the course with the supervision of the university officials. The exams are conducted by the visiting university officials and the standard is the same as in the university. REC Campus is fully equipped with air conditioned lecture halls, Cafeteria, IT Lab, Class rooms and Library.
Those who want to start studies directly, they can be sent to the country for studies from the 1st semester. FREE English language classes are offered to the all registered students to assure high score in English Language Proficiency.
