The LLM Degree in International Business and Commercial Law
The programme is designed to produce graduates who have employment prospects with multinational corporations, because they understand the legal regulations and constraints of international business, as well as the financial world of international trade agencies and multinational corporations. The course will provide an in-depth knowledge of current English law as well as European law and international developments in the relevant areas of study.
Whilst the formal module lectures focus on English and European Community laws and regulations, the local knowledge and context for Sri Lankan students will be provided through an experienced and senior guest panel which consists of senior academics, practitioners and members of the judiciary.
The senior lecture panel, in collaboration with the experienced lecture panel at the University of West London will deliver the International Arbitration, International Commercial and Shipping Law, International Litigation, Laws on International Business Structures, Legal Aspects of International Finance, Research Methodology and Dissertation modules which constitute the programme. The LLM degree awarded by the University of West London will provide its students with the qualification to further their academic and professional growth in a timely and cost effective manner.

Next Intake for the LLM programme will take place in February 2021, students enrolling for this intake will enjoy a Rs 75,000 concession on their fees for enrolments on or before 20th January 2021.
