Four more COVID patients die; death toll increases to 34
View(s):Four more COVID-19 related deaths were reported yesterday, raising the death toll to 34, the Health Ministry said.
Two of the deaths were reported form the Maligawatta area, while the other deaths were reported from Wellampitiya and Ganemulla. The deaths from Maligawatta were of two women aged 42 and 69 while the victim from Ganemulla was 88. The fourth victim, 67, was from Wellampitiya.
The Health Ministry said that all of them had previous complications.
Of the 34 deaths, 21 of them have been reported during the past one month.
