Former Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) cricketer Bimal Perera and current Sri Lanka Cricket Assistant Secretary Krishantha Kapuwatte were unanimously elected as President and Secretary respectively of the North Western Province Cricket Association (NWPCA) at its Annual General Meeting held at the Welagedara Stadium in Kurunegala.

Perera is a product of St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa while Kapuwatte is an old boy of St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala. The newly elected office bearers will take charge of the NWPCA for the next three years until 2022.
