Our photographs show vehicles parked recklessly along First Cross Street and Maliban Street in Colombo 11, Kynsey Road in Colombo 8 and in Colombo Fort, in the Hulftsdorp area in Colombo 12, and in Vinayalankara Mawatha in Colombo 10.

Even close to the entrances of government offices and public places too, the no parking signs were being ignored. Those mostly affected by the situation were pedestrians who were forced to walk on the streets in the rain, risking their lives.
