ANC Education, the leading transnational education provider in the country was smart and swift to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic right from the onset by introducing an “Intensive” model for all their Australian Diploma programs. The current pandemic situation did not disrupt any student who are currently enrolled in the program, but help them complete their studies by December 2020 and successfully transit to their desired University in 2021 intake.
There are limited Australian education pathways in Sri Lanka. This intensive program covers the similar workload of the regular Diploma program, but cutting down the length of duration by increasing the number of modules per semester and lecture hours per week. The curriculum is designed as such that their soft skills are developed by teaching them to do presentations, research analysis, laboratory practical’s and much more whilst offering additional student tutoring services by adhering to the guidelines of social distancing. Students have the opportunity to commence the Diploma (1st year) program in June and complete in December 2020, giving them the assurance to transfer into the 2nd year of their chosen University Bachelor’s degree program in Australia.
