Kandakadu quarantine centre fully operational

The quarantine centre in Kandakadu, in Welikanda was fully operational by yesterday with more than 400 Sri Lankan returnees occupying the centre.
An army guard has been placed while all health precautions have been taken.
At least four persons at the centre who were identified to be positively infected with the coronavirus were transfered to the NIDH for treatment.
