University Admission Handbook 2019/2020 released
View(s):The University Grants Commission (UGC) released the University Admission Handbook for the year 2019/2020 last week.
The handbook, which costs Rs 500, has been printed in Sinhala, Tamil and English and can be obtained from designated bookshops around the country.
Students were requested to apply online for registration and those who do not have internet facility could use the Nenasala IT centres. The UGC urged the students to read the hand book instructions carefully and follow the steps when applying for courses.
UGC Additional Secretary D.L.D Jayantha said while online registrations are encouraged, hard copy applications will also be accepted. He said photocopies of relevant documents should be attached to the applications.
However, the UGC said the online process will be speedy and secure. Applications need to be submitted before March 22, 2020. - CC
