Royal Gateway, Australia celebrated the inauguration of its Sri Lankan campus on 21 February 2020, in the presence of distinguished guests –Susil Premajayanth, State Minister of International Co-operation; Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Education and Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs; Ms Jill Geiblinger, Principal of Royal Gateway Australia; Gael Sparks, Dean of Teaching and Learning and Wan Chen, Managing Partner, Royal Gateway Australia.
The Royal Gateway Higher Education Campus (RGHE Campus) is a fully fledged educational premises situated in Wattala.
The qualifications and courses are delivered by a university accredited and approved Lecture panel with ample experience in the education industry. RGHE is committed to delivering the highest quality training and education programmes and has a large bespoke scope of qualifications on offer, that is delivered by a variety of delivery methods to ensure students needs are met at all times.
RGHE provides every student with an engaging learning system while providing a learning environment that is hands on and interactive.
RGHE offers their students qualifications and courses in the fields of Business, Management, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), Leadership and Sport.
The RG Certificate IV in Business Management can be studied at Royal Gateway Australia (on-campus) or at the RGHE campus (through blended learning). The Royal Gateway Foundation Year programmes are offered in Business Management and STEAM specializations and is delivered at the RGHE Campus.
The Royal Gateway Diploma of sport is a unique and one of a kind qualification, introduced to Sri Lanka for the first time and can be studied at Royal Gateway, Australia. The programme encompasses a perfect blend of study and practice in which Royal Gateway offers the opportunity to practice sport at one of their Elite Sports Academies. RGHE currently boasts of two Elite Sports Academies in Cricket and Football. The Cricket Academy is headed by coach Terry Oliver, a renowned cricket coach in Australia while the Football Academy is headed by Luis Ruiz, a professional striker for Costa Rica who has been coaching in Australia for more than 10 years. This programme is ideal for students looking to build a career in the sports industry. Upon completion of this programme, students will be able to study the Bachelor of Sport Degree offered by Griffith University.
In other opportunities, Royal Gateway offers a range of Diplomas and Advanced Diploma programmes in the streams of Business and Leadership Management. These programmes can be studied at Royal Gateway Australia (on-campus) or at the RGHE campus (through blended learning).
By following these programmes, students are given the opportunity to either study these qualifications in Sri Lanka or join Royal Gateway Australia. Following certain courses would even allow students to study directly at one of Royal Gateway’s Partnering Universities – Griffith University or Southern Cross University or any other Australian University in one of their credit approved programmes, upon completing any of the diploma programmes.
