Latest stage play directed by actor and playwright Dharmapriya Dias  “Mama Nevey Wena Kenek” (It is not me)  will be staged at the Lionel Wendt theatre on February 16, at 7.00 pm.

Ramanayake is a taxi driver and he is married to two women. One lives in a flat in Kaduwela and her name is Bhadrani. The other lives in another flat in Kadawatha and her name is Chithrani.

Ramanayake follows a well planned routine with both of his wives, until oneday he meets with an accident, and wakes up in a hospital.

Accidendly he gives two different addresses to the hospital and the police station. Also ends up with the wrong wife by his side, and is forced to explain things to both of his wives and the two police officers from Kaduwela and Kadawatha at the same time.

The play is performed by Shyam Fernando, Jayani Senanayake, Sampath Jayaweera , Theruni Ashansha, Anuradha Mallawarachchi and few others. Ranga Samarakoon is the light director and line producer. The play is produced by Lakmal Prashan Gunawardena.
