The Under-15 cricket team of Windies Cricket Academy (WCA) in Matale, led by Weditha Adis, ended their recent tour of India successfully. The WCA team emerged champions defeating Vinayakara Cricket Academy by 3 runs in the final of the Ananthara DCA invitation T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 held in Bangalore India from December 13 to 16.
The team played four matches of which they won three and lost one. With this win WCA has recorded their tenth title win on Indian soil. The WCA cricketers also excelled to bag four of the six individual honours that were on offer.
