The convocation of the external graduates of the University of Peradeniya was held recently at the National Institute of Cooperative Development’s auditorium in Polgolla.

At the convocation presided over by the university’s chancellor, Professor K.M.de. Silva, 429 arts graduates and 30 business administrative graduates were conferred with degrees. Among them were two Buddhist monks and a Catholic nun.

Vice Chancellor Professor Upul B. Dissanayake was present at the ceremony.
