Mahinda College Galle win IT General Knowledge

CODEFEST, a islandwide Software Competition organized by the Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) to exhibit Software Application Design and develop talents of students island-wide, was held recently for the 8th consecutive year, with 135 schools participating.

Mahinda College Galle emerged winners of the General Knowledge contest on IT under ‘CODFEST-2019’ competition held  in parallel with SLIIT’s 20th anniversary celebrations.  The winning team comprised Sadul Renuja, Sahan Wevelvala and Rusira Sathnidu.

The competition is an effort of SLIIT to elevate the entire nation’s ICT knowledge to become the Knowledge Hub of Asia. CODEFEST, was first organized in 2012.
