Taylor Swift records ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ for film adaptation of musical ‘Cats’

Taylor Swift has recorded the song ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ for the film adaptation of the musical Cats. She has co-written with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. He wrote songs and score for stage version back in 1977. But the song ’Beautiful Ghost’ is a new track. The film will be out on December 20.

Little Mix cancels tour

Little Mix has cancelled their tour of Australia and New Zealand in order to work on their new album and also upcoming new show Little Mix The Search on BBC. The all girl group took to social media on 22nd October to make the announcement apologising for the inconvenience and offered refunds. They were to give five concerts starting on 7th December in Australia and end by 19th December in New Zealand. Instead the Little Mix tour will now end on 22nd November in London. Fans expressed disappointment on social media.

US singer Lizzo files action against the brothers Justin and Jeremiah Raisen

The US singer Lizzo has filed action against the brothers Justin and Jeremiah Raisen who claim rights to her US chart topping hit song ‘Truth Hurts’ from 2017. They claimed a line to the hit song was taken from a demo song of theirs called ‘Healthy’ which was allegedly co- written by Lizzo. Since her success of with ‘Truth Hurts’ many artists have offered to collaborate with Lizzo. The 31 year old artist is seeking unspecified damages

Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton help raise funds

Sir Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton two big time legends of rock have help raise funds for the Chelsea Old Church, London to buy a new organ. The two rock stars who reside in the area, with their contribution helped raise £650,000 to replace the 70 year old organ which was installed on 13th October.

Maroon 5 hits makes it to the UK charts at No. 10

Maroon 5 latest hit ‘Memories’ has crossed into the UK top 10 from 19 to reach No: 10. The mellow pop track sees Adam Levine pay tribute to the band’s later manager Jordan Feldstein who died in 2017. The song is a non album track at this moment. ‘Memories’ is Maroon 5’s 11th UK top 10 hit.
