In order to meet future challenges it is important that our students to “step in to e-Culture” which is Associated with latest methods of Education. Isipathana College OBA 1970 /73 Group has undertaken this challenge to provide the much needed up to date facility to the Students.

What is e-Culture ?:-

e-Culture based on Education is  to expose our Students to meet the Future with Confidence through in-depth learning giving access for Studentsto e- Educational Content

How will ICKC facilitate? :-

Students could obtain deliveries utilising ICKC Class Room Or viaComputers, Tabs, Mobile Phones from anyother location where Wi-Fifacility is available.

What would the Students gain ? :

Students will be exposed to learn even without teacher-guidelines.Further Teachers can deliver Educational Contents and shareEducational material with Students, through a way of a platform. The ultimate goal would be toreduce the burden on Students carrying heavy material to School, reducethe load of home work and enjoy learning. Such learning methods are already in practice in many developedcountries world-wide.

Isipathana College Knowledge Centre ( ICKC ) Capability :-

Isipathana College Knowledge Centrewill be a typical learning environment to similar facilities offered in developed countries and first of its kind in a Sri Lanka School. The Technical Team envisages this knowledgeCenter to be equipped with high speed internet connections ensuring global connectivity, customized software developed incorporating elements of Learning Management Systems ( LMS ) software consisting of Smart Content, Self-Learning Methods, Material Creation, Guided Learning, Analytics and Peer learning.

The project team strongly believes that the Knowledge Centre would foster the development of students self-learning ability, critical thinking, peer learning and thereby develop a college e-culture of modern learning wherethe education will take the boundaries not limited only to examination success but the knowledge and capacity building for life-long learning.

The team believes that this is going to be the first step of enhancing the achievements of the much needed academic sphere of the College where the teachers and seniors students could also contribute and evolve the concept with time in an effective manner ensuring itssustainability for the benefit of our Students in the long term.
