Ravana Sithabhilashaya at Punchi Theatre
View(s):Ravana Sithabhilashaya – a Musical, will go on the boards at Namel Malini Punchi Theatre on September 28 at 3.30 and 7 p.m.
The play is jointly scripted by Professor J. B. Disanayaka and Namel Weeramuni. The latter has directed the play. Music compositions and training are done by two award winning veterans, Jayantha Aravinda and Lionel Gunatillake. Choreography is brilliantly created by the young and very talented Akila Palipana.
The cast of veteran actors comprises Rajitha Hevathantrige, Surangi Kosala, Chaminda Mirihagalle, Nihari Somasiri, Nilaksi Helapitiya, Guvani Uvindya, Saman Liyanarchchi, Mahesh Rajaguru, Sriyani Rupasinghe, Nishanta Ajith, Amith Prasad and others. Malini Weeramuni created the beautiful costumes.
