Buddhika elected S. Thomas’ College Bandarawela OBA vice president

Buddhika Kurukularatne was unanimously elected as a Vice President of the Old Boys’ Association of  S. Thomas’ College Bandarawela at its 32nd AGM held at the school’s Keble Memorial Hall last month.

Mr. Kurukularatne is an Advocate, MIPM (Sri Lanka) and at 76, the oldest member of the OBA. A former Parliamentarian who represented the UNP (Galle District), he is also a journalist and author of nine books.

He received a plaque in recognition of his services to the school from Bishop of Colombo Dhiloraj Canagasabey at a STC function held recently.

He has served for many years as a committee member of the STC B OBA.
