Theme Resorts and Spas’ launched ‘Wild Glamping Knuckles’ as the latest addition to their collection of themed experiences. A luxury campsite situated in the Knuckles mountain range of Sri Lanka, at Thangappuwa; takes shelter amongst the roaring hills of the Central Province.
The picturesque and secluded surroundings of Wild Glamping offers its guests the opportunity to experience the adventure of the Knuckles mountain range and the surrounding wilderness of the flora and fauna, while enjoying the crisp and cool climate and the serenity of the rainforests and mountains.
Launched as ‘Wild Glamping’, the campsite embraces the adventurous experience of camping out in the wilderness. Two of the property’s key features are, the absence of electricity and the presence of solar powered appliances focused on preserving the surrounding environment. The campsite entails 10 luxury tents, a common area for guests to enjoy the views and a dining area in which Sri Lankan food is freshly prepared for the guests. Wild Glamping aims to promote the beauty of the Knuckles Mountain range and the many treks and hikes that should be experienced whilst offering state-of-the-art facilities and an authentic experience.
The property was brought to life by Chandra Wickramasinghe – the Chairman and the Managing Director of ‘Theme Resorts and Spas’.
