John Keell’s ‘B’ will be looking for sweet revenge when they take on Kanrich Finance ‘B’ in the finals of the second Fair & Lovely Men Trophy-MCA ‘B’ Division 50 Over League Tournament 2019, today at the MCA Grounds. Play commencing at 9.45 a.m.
Kanrich Finance scored a narrow one wicket win over John Keells in their league outing earlier at the BRC Grounds.
In the second stage, the qualifier one between teams ranked first and second in group stage, Kanrich Finance beat HNB (Ranked One) by 22 runs in the D/L method to enter the finals.
In the second stage the eliminator one between teams ranked third and fourth in the group stage, John Keells Group vs Expolanka Group ended in a no-decision. John Keells ‘B’ by virtue of their higher position in the league advanced to eliminator two vs HNB (loser eliminator one), which they won by three wickets.
