Rider suffers fatal injuries after mobike falls on him
View(s):A 40-year-old father of two succumbed to a head injury on Tuesday (13), when his motorbike fell on him after he fell off while riding.
Jayasekara Siriwardenage Yasantha, resident of Paragasthota, had gone to witness the Perahera organised by the village temple, when the accident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, no vehicle had knocked him down. When people found him he was lying supine under the bike.
The incident had reportedly occurred on October 5, when he was admitted to the Nagoda hospital, and was later transferred to the National Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
